Cuban Mining Company to Export Zeolite to Spain and Lat Am

Holguín, Cuba, mar 26. -The company Geominera Holguín will export 10,500 tons of zeolite to Spain, Brazil, Mexico, Panama, Venezuela, the Dominican Republic and Ecuador in 2011.

If the production plan is fulfilled, the company might report revenues of nearly one million dollars, Geominera Business Head Juan Carlos Badia told the newspaper Juventud Rebelde.

Holguin's zeolite reserves are expected to last 50 years and the plant in San Andres can process 75,000 tons of that mineral a year. (Prensa Latina)
