Angolan Minister Praises Cuban and Angolan Friendship Havana, Feb 15. – Rosa Cruz e Silva, Minister of Culture of Angola, said here Monday that the destiny of her country and Cuba is "to be together, for the common causes."

"We will always follow the example of Cuba," said the Angolan Culture Minister while she was presiding the Cuban edition of an anthology of Angolan stories, a novel called "Jaime Brunda, Secret Agent" by Pepetela in the 20th edition of the International Book Fair in Cuba.

Cruz was surprised by the way the population attends this edition and said this shows the success of the Cuban Revolution in giving knowledge to its people.

Cruz referred to the editorial situation in Angola and that they are working in a project to translate the Latin American literature into the Portuguese language, especially from Cuban authors.

"This will require a great effort but it is indispensable if we want to foster a closer relation between our two continents," she concluded.(Prensa Latina)
