United Nations, Feb 10. – UN Secretary General Ban Ki-moon is expected to visit Ecuador and Peru next week, official spokesman for UN Martin Nesirky confirmed on Wednesday.
In Quito, Ban is scheduled to meet with President Rafael Correa and other Ecuadorian high ranking officials.
In Peru, he is expected to meet with President Alan Garcia and also with former UN Secretary General Javier Perez de Cuellar (1982-1991).
The UN chiefâ�Ös agenda also included attending the Third Summit of Heads of State and Government of South American and Arab Countries, but it has been postponed due to current events in that area.(Prensa Latina)
