More than 33 CDR members to participate in Surveillance Exercise Santa Cruz del Sur, Dec 10. –Since last Wednesday and until next Sunday the 20th Popular Surveillance Exercise, marking the 52nd anniversary of the triumph of the Revolution is being carried out throughout the country, in order to fight corruption, illegalities and social indiscipline.

More than 33 members of the CDR (Committees for the Defense of the Revolution) from this territory, organized into 695 Committees and 116 Zones will give their enthusiastic support, proving from their neighbourhoods the unity achieved in order to disarticulate anything that might eclipse our socialist society.

Many debates and talks are being held during these days in the districts, aimed to strengthen the cederist duty and the measures to be taken so as to avoid fires in the sugar-cane fields.

We want to stimulate the vanguards of this community in the events that simultaneously are going to be carried out in all the Popular Councils, said the government employee.

For the closing activity of this exercise number 26, at a provincial level, Santa Cruz del Sur was chosen, because of the work done by the whole people in tackling the crimes.
