Cultural Dialogue on Cuba in Paris Paris, Oct 5. – The values of the Cuban cultura as an element for ideintity, tradition and spirit were the center of a dialogue in the French capital with the participation of French intellectuals exchanging their opinions with Cuban experts.

Luis Morlote, president of Cuban Hermanos Saiz Association and director of Cuban radio programs, together with Enrique Ubieta, Cuban intellectual in charge of Cuban magazine La Calle del Medio, were the main expositors.

Gilbert Brownstone, president of the Brownstone Art Foundation, was one of the participants, and said he is a great follower of the Cuban culture, something that he will keep on doing.

Brownstone announced he will make a donation to the Cuban Fine Arts Museum, with 120 works of his own.

Among them there are works made by Pablo Picasso, Camille Pissarro, Roy Lichtenstein, Camille Pisarro, Marcel Duchamp, André Masson, Andy Warhol and Joan Miró.

He also said he will offer three-month scholarships for Cuban young talents, to help the Cuban Culture Ministry, and as a tribute to the Cuban Five.

The occasion was perfect for Ubieta to present Olga Salanueva and Adriana Perez, wives of Rene Gonzalez and Gerardo Hernandez, two of the Cuban Five.

Olga and Adriana are in France to fulfil an intense agenda and take part in the official launching of the book Cinq Cubains a Miami (Five Cubans to Miami) written by French journalist Maurice Lemoine.(Prensa Latina)
