Havana, Aug 27. -Cuban President Raul Castro met with Namibian Ambassador Claudia Grace Uushona, on the occasion of her concluding her diplomatic work on the island.
During a meeting on Thursday in this capital, the island's head of State sent a friendly greeting to Namibian President Hifikepunye Lucas Pohamba, the Cuban press reported.
Raul Castro expressed gratitude to Uushona for her outstanding work and solidarity in Cuba since October 2004, and talked of the excellent state of bilateral relations between their two countries.
Cuban Foreign Minister Bruno Rodriguez also attended the meeting. (Prensa Latina)
