Cuba to Open Two New Schools for Children with Severe Disabilities
‘Soon in Cuba we will open two new schools for children with severe disabilities in the center and east of the country. It extends the experience of the school ‘Republic of Panama’ at the request of Army General Raul Castro Ruz’, wrote the Head of State in his account @DiazCanelB.
The President of the Councils of State and Ministers accompanies his publication with a tweet from Deputy Foreign Minister Anayansi Rodriguez on the Cuban presentation this Wednesday before the Committee on the Rights of Persons with Disabilities, an independent body linked to the United Nations that monitors the issue.
Cuba will address the committee as part of the 21st session of the body, held at the United Nations Office in Geneva, from March 11 to April 5.
This, according to the diplomat, is another sign of the Cuba’s commitment to the promotion and protection of the human rights of its people and to building a society with greater access to justice and full human dignity. (Prensa Latina)
