Josefina Vidal Will Head the Cuban Delegation in Talks with US La Habana, 18 Jan .- The Director of United States Affairs at the Cuban Ministry of Foreing Affairs, Josefina Vidal will head the caribbean delegation for the coming round of conversations with the United States.

These mettings will take place on the 21 and 22nd of January at the Convention Palace in this capital, according to a press release of the Ministry of Foreing Affairs.

"On the 21 of January will take place a new round of migration conversations, that on the US side will be headed by deputy assistant secretary of state for Western Hemisphere affairs, Edward Alex Lee", according to the statement.

"This meeting will be an opportunity to evaluate the migration agreements and the actions taken by both sides to confront illegal immigration and human traffiking, among other matters".

"On the 22 will take place the first meeting for the process of reestablishing diplomatic relations between both countries and on the US side it will be headed by Assistant Secretary of State for Western Hemisphere Affairs, Roberta S. Jacobson ".

"In this meeting the delegation will be dealing with the principals and steps to be taken for reestablishing of diplomatic relations and the opening of embassys in each country", according to the release.

"On that same day there will be another exchange to deal with bilateral matters,including areas of cooperation in matters of mutual interests". (Prensa Latina)
