Socio-cultural Project Offers Summer Proposals in Camagüey

Socio-cultural Project Offers Summer Proposals in Camagüey Camagüey, Aug 9.- The Proyecto eJo socio-cultural institution of Camagüey city promotes art in all of its expressions, based on the work of both professional creators and amateurs throughout the communities in the area.

Located across the Principal Theater – in the section of this capital city included in UNESCO’s World Heritage List – the institution enables the exchange of national and local artists, students and art instructors with the population, offering a healthy recreation alternative all over the current summer season.

Sofia’s literary get-together, Counting and playing for children, the Origami workshop – also for the smallest members in the family – and Tai Chi for health are some of the social, cultural and educational proposals underway for a heterogeneous public.

A gallery at the entrance hall of this institution touts the work of local visual artists and invites creators from other Cuban provinces to exhibit their art.

With broad acceptance among the various audiences, Proyecto eJo takes as main priorities to offer options aimed at improving the quality of life of the Camagüey-resident people, raising their aesthetic taste and promoting wholesome recreation. (Radio Cadena Agramonte).
