Santo Domingo, Jul 24.- Cuban journalist and writer Katiuska Blanco will arrive in the Dominican Republic today, to launch her book "Fidel Castro Ruz, Guerrillero del Tiempo" (Fidel Castro Ruz, Warrior of Time) in upcoming days.
The program of the also author of the volume "Todo el tiempo de los cedros" (All the days of the cedars) includes speeches and exchanges at the Academy of History and the Autonomous University of Santo Domingo.
One of the presentations of "Guerrillero del Tiempo," whose Dominican edition was in charge of writer Hamlet Hermann, will coincide in time with the celebration here of the 59th anniversary of the attack on the Moncada and Carlos Manuel de Cespedes garrisons.
That action, led by Fidel Castro and a group of young men on July 26, 1953, began the last stage of struggle of the Cuban people for its liberation that ended with the revolutionary triumph on January 1, 1959.
Blanco's current book includes two volumes and 1,168 pages. It was published for a first time in February 2012, as one of the new titles of the Cuban International Book Fair. (Radio Cadena Agramonte).
