Positive Attitude to Chavez Govt Increases among Venezuelans
Caracas, Jan 30. -More than 60 percent of the population is in favor of the policies implemented by Venezuela President Hugo Chavez in public health, education and housing, the private pollster Hinterlaces said on Monday.According to Oscar Schemel, chairman of Hinterlaces, the latest survey, carried out this month, shows that 68 percent of Venezuelans have a positive view on housing, following the launch of the Great Mission to give a robust response to the housing needs of the country.
In an interview with the TV show Toda Venezuela, he said that 62 percent of people are in favor of the president's work, while 53 percent consider that public health management is positive.
Schemel added that 59 percent of respondents think that the Bolivarian Revolution "has helped develop the nation."
According to the survey, 64 percent of Venezuelans judge Chavez's performance as positive, a four-percent increase compared to the previous survey in November 2011. (Prensa Latina)
