Spain Commands FIFA World Ranking
Berno, Dec 21. -Spain´s national football team closed the year 2011 at the head of FIFA's top ranking as World and European Champion.This team with 1,564 points, is ahead of Holland (1,365) and Germany (1,345). It also earned the Team of the Year title in Spain for the fourth consecutive year.
For Latin America, the best standings are held by Uruguay, Brazil, Argentina and Chile, the fourth, sixth, tenth and 13th in the world rankings.
Uruguay boast their best performance in the last decade, owed mainly to the championship spectacularly earned at the Copa America.

Berna, 21 dic (PL) La selección nacional de fútbol de España concluyó 2011 en la cúspide del ranking mundial de la FIFA, publicado hoy.
El equipo ibérico, vigente monarca mundial y europeo, acumula mil 564 puntos, con los que aventaja a Holanda (mil 365) y Alemania (mil 345), segundo y tercero, respectivamente.
Además, España recibió la distinción de Equipo del Año, premio que ostenta desde hace cuatro años.
Por Latinoamérica sobresalen Uruguay, Brasil, Argentina y Chile, países que ocupan el cuarto, sexto, décimo y decimotercer lugares, por ese orden.
Los charrúas cierran el presente curso en su mejor ubicación de la última década, avalados principalmente en el título conquistado espectacularmente en la Copa América.
