Food Prices will Remain Unstable

Rome, Oct 11. -The price of food will remain volatile and may further rise, agrees a joint report by several international organizations on the issue.The UN Food and Agriculture Organization (FAO), the International Fund for Agriculture Development (IFAD) and the World Food Program (WFP) annual report confirm the global food insecurity.

According to this document producers and consumers in poor countries are the most vulnerable to the situation as well as import-dependent small countries, namely in Africa.

Many such countries take the most suffering from the 2006- 2008 economic and world food crisis. (Prensa Latina)
