Arnulfo Olivera Montero, a fisherman with roots on solid ground

Arnulfo Olivera Montero, a fisherman with roots on solid ground Arnulfo Olivera Montero was born in Niquero, Granma, and despite he is a fisherman he put down roots in Santa Cruz del Sur. Now he is one of the 21 smallholders, devoted specially to the rice sowing.

Ever since i opened my eyes i knew what to work in a famrm means. That is why I chose to produce food in backyards and plots, to seek eficiency in agriculture. An older brother of mine is helping me out to make this land to produce.

The amount of rice amassed in this whole stage gives confidence to these salt residue warriors. They have the essential carbohydrate on their tables, saving them money, and offering solidarity to those who have not taken this choice because of several circunstances.

This fisherman has already 146 blood donations. And just like other smallholders he does his job in the Committees for the Defense of the Revolution, since Revolution is defended every day from this point. After the Sixth Congress of the Cuban Communist Party we must put the lineaments passed into practice. We are already contributing. Are you? Santiago SantaCruz
