Mexico Launches National Security Operation
Mexico City, Jun 13. -A joint security operation began in Mexico on Monday with the participation of 310,000 police officers.
The action is the result of an agreement reached by the National Governors Conference (CONAGO) to respond with greater force in fighting the main crimes that affect citizen safety, officials announced.
The police will prioritize the dismantling of gangs and arrests of people with outstandig warrants, and other violations.
This operation will last until June 19 and the results will be announced later. (Prensa Latina)
