Santa Cruz del Sur, Nov 30. –The Basic Economic Unit “El Prado”, is immersed in the incorporating process to the Suburban Agriculture Project, with the composition of three productive farms destined for the varied crops.
The first steps for these units to execute the main tasks have been already taken, such as the formation of its members, the conformation of the new files and their main data, and also the social object they are going to work on from now on.
These farms named Prado One and Two, and Las Catalinas, are part of the 29 farms that must be ready before the end of the year inside the farming program being promoted nowadays in the whole country.
The Sub-urban Agriculture Project iniciated in Santa Cruz since September 30th this year, plans, in a five year benchmarking, to develop an farming system guaranteeing the supply of such products for the people living in Southern Camaguey. (Hugo Betancourt Mayoral / Radio Santa Cruz)
