Fishing industry fulfilled the plan and increased savings in Santa CruzSanta Cruz del Sur, May 29. -The workers from the “Algérico Lara Correa” Fishing Industry fulfilled the production plan at 112 per cent , and the exportations were over the 150 per cent. They saved 33 thousand fuel litters and 143 Megawatts per hour to carry out this task.

The men and women working there also processed species from other enterprises, mainly shrimps and fish comming from the aquiculture. They also increased the oyster capture in 60 tons.

Many premises are still being reorganized in this Enterprise as a consecuence of the hurricane impacts, and at the same time there has been a proposal to certify the accounts in the current year.

Moreover, about 100 blood donations have been  made so far, and around 30 men contributed with the Sugar Cane Harvest by going to the sugar cane cutting.   (Yanayma Rodríguez Molina / Radio Santa Cruz)
