Excellent results in partial elections in Santa Cruz del Sur

Santa Cruz del Sur, May 6. -Last May 2nd were elected the 102 delegates that constitute the Municipal Assembly of the People’s Power in Southern Camaguey. Once again discipline and organization characterized this important day, where southerners elected their candidates according to their merits, virtues and capacities.

This way, Santa Cruz del Sur successfully fulfilled with the process, as it is stipulated in the Cuban Electoral Law. This municipality is getting ready to do the appointment of the Local Govern Body, which is going to have the responsibility to run the achievement of this territory in a two years term. 

In only two days the people from Santa Cruz reaffirmed its support to the Revolution, the Party, Fidel and Raul; the first one, in the May Day, and the ther one with the presence of more than 3000 fellowmen to excersice their right to vote in the runoff. (Rolando Canaura Sánchez/ Radio Santa Cruz)
