Buenos Aires, Dec 9 .-The beautiful Argentine city of Bariloche, in the province of Río Negro, welcomes yesterday the 13th Regional Meeting of Solidarity with Cuba of Patagonia Camilo Cienfuegos, attended by the ambassador of that island in Argentina, Orestes Pérez.

The meeting, headed by representatives of the houses of Neuquén, San Martin de Los Andes, Cutral-Co and El Bolsón, dedicates its work sessions to the historical leader of the Cuban Revolution, Commander in Chief Fidel Castro, one year after his death and the Argentine-Cuban guerrilla Ernesto Che Guevara, on the 50th anniversary of his assassination in Bolivia.

During the conference, several committees that will address issues such as the economic, commercial and financial blockade that the United States has imposed on the Caribbean island for almost six decades, and the occupation of the illegal Guantanamo base, will be developed.

They will also abound in the constant media aggression against the island, the solidarity programs that lead the various houses of solidarity and the issue of integration, sovereignty, and unity, which are essential in these times in the continent.

In this first of two days, the Cuban ambassador will offer a conference entitled The Cuban Present and its relationship with our Americas.

As part of the activities two important samples were opened, one of them with 50 photographs, several of them unpublished, taken to Che by the correspondents of the Latin American News Agency Prensa Latina, which he helped to found in June 1959 in Havana.
