Caracas, Apr 10 .- Technicians from the National Electoral Council (CNE) and the political parties that will participate in the May 20 elections will start the verification of voters” data on the voting machines.
In these elections, Venezuelans will vote for the president of the Republic and the members of the state and municipal legislative councils.
During the audit, the voters’ biometric data, quality of fingerprints and the procedures to certify them in the voters’ authentication system (SAI) will be reviewed.
Other aspects to be taken into consideration are the accuracy of names, surnames and ID numbers of the registered voters.
The audit will end on April 11.
