Argentine Director Proud to Exhibit Film in Havana Festival

Havana, Dec 5. -The presence of the film "El Notificador" in the 33rd International Festival of New Latin American Cinema makes me proud, said Blas Eloy Martinez, director of the film, in competition for Opera Prima.Due to the quality and prestige of this event in the region, every director wants to come to this film festival, he said in statements to Prensa Latina.

Martinez stressed the process of interaction with the public of Havana, which besides being demanding is very enthisiastic, he said.

El Notificador had a first showing at Cinema in Construction, Toulouse 2011; then at Biarritz Festival 2011; and now this is the definitive version in Havana, he said.

The film tells the story of Eloy, a young employee of the Judiciary, who must distribute 100 notifications daily.

A series of events will lead him to try to get his life back in the middle of a gallery of flamboyant characters and surrounded by a city in ruins, says the synopsis. (Prensa Latina)
