Real Madrid vs. Galatasaray for Santiago Bernabéu Trophy

Madrid, Jul 15. -After several weeks of uncertainty, Real Madrid FC announced that will meet Turkish team Galatasaray for Santiago Bernabéu Trophy next August 24.So, Real Madrid will host the Turkish team for the first time in the history of this kind of competition, which is the 33rd edition.

Both teams have met before three times; in the UEFA Supercup in 2000 and in the first and second leg matches of the quarter finals of the Champions League in the year 2000 too.

In the previous season, Galatasaray, which is an Istanbul team, finished eight, while Real Madird finished second of the Spanish League, following Barcelona FC. (Prensa Latina)
