Energy saving in Santa Cruz del Sur

Santa Cruz del Sur, May 4. – At the end of April, Santa Cruz del Sur reduced the energy intensity index in one per cent, compared to the previous year, which means that it successfully fulfilled with the proposed measures for the energy saving.

After the assessment period concluded, an increase of 1.8 per cent in the commercial production was noticeable, and the conventional fuel consumption dropped in 12.6 per cent.

There are still entities exceeding the energy intensity indexes, such as the Granja Haití farm, school transport, ALISUR, and Omnibus.
