Activities in favor of the environment in Santa Cruz del Sur

Santa Cruz del Sur, May 1. – This Tuesday at nine in the morning, at the  Carlos Manuel de Céspedes Elementary School, located right just a few meters from the sea front, will begin the activities to welcome next June 5th, World Environment Day.

The Casa del Educador is the place where a conference about the environment is going to take place. This meeting will deal with subjects related to the protection and care of the environment and several preventive measures will be included.

The First Secretary of the Cuban Communist Party in this southern Municipality, The President of the Local Government, members of the district of the Committees for the Defence of the Revolution, professionals from the Education Sector, specialists from the Local Environment Researching Center and members from this organization in the Province, teachers, students and guests are going to participate in this encounter.
