Over 100 Delegates to European Event of Solidarity with Cuba Havana, May 24. – More than one hundred delegates will attend the 16th European Meeting of Solidarity with Cuba, to be run in November in Germany, organizer of the event, Frank Schwitalla, said in this capital on Thursday.

On behalf of the German Network of Solidarity with this Caribbean nation, Schwitalla met with executives from the Cuban Institute of Friendship with the Peoples (ICAP) to state the organizational aspects of sessions.

According to a note released by the Cuban Institute of Friendship with Peoples (ICAP), the international campaign for the cause of Antonio Guerrero, Ramon Labañino, Fernando Gonzalez, Gerardo Hernandez and Rene Gonzalez, the five Cuban antiterrorist fighters unjustly held in the United States since 1998, will be discussed in the event.

Also in the agenda are a denunciation for the European Union arbitrary common position on Cuba, and to spread the island's truth in the face of media campaigns against it.

The action plan to be developed in the coming stage by the German Network of Solidarity (NETZWERK CUBA), comprised of over 40 organizations, is also on the agenda of the forum, Schwitalla noted.

The meeting will be held in the Hotel Kolumbus facilities in Berlin, on November 9-11, the NETZWERK president for a decade stated.(Prensa Latina)
