Ethiopian Graduates: Free the Cuban 5 Havana, Aug 9. – The Granma 72 Association of Ethiopians who studied in Cuba in the 1980s, met in Addis Ababa to express their support for the island and boost solidarity actions.The group held a General Assembly, and discussed their participation in the 4th African Cuba Solidarity Meeting in September 2012 in Addis Ababa, the National News Agency reported.

Omar Leyva, charge dâ�Öaffaires of the Cuban embassy in that country, who attended the meeting, talked to them about the situation of the five Cuban antiterrorist fighters, who have been unjustly imprisoned for almost 12 years.

The diplomat thanked the group for its support and highlighted the importance of the support of all allies in the growing international struggle for their release, according to a post on the website of the Cuban Foreign Ministry.(Prensa Latina)
