Successful Performance of Cuban Ballet in GermanyCamagüey, Cuba, July 30.- The Endedans Contemporary Ballet Company of Camaguey province successfully wound up a series of performances in Hamburg, Germany.

During their second presentation in the German city, the Cuban artists brought their new ballet “Long live Life” to the stage of the Schmidt Tivoli Theater to find a positive reaction by the critics and specialized publications. Previously, the company performed in Hamburg in September 2011.

Following the performance, the company received the standing ovation of the public for the excellent choreography by Cuban Tania Vergara.

Vergara, who is the director of the Endedans Contemporary Ballet Company of Camaguey, won the prize granted by the 2008 Alicia Alonso Ibero-American Choreography Competition.

The company’s performance, which was accompanied by Camaguey’s Musicora orchestra, headed by Humberto Garcia, was mirrored in several articles published by the Hamburg Morgenpost newspaper, company public relations officer Julio Cesar Delgado told the Cuban News Agency.
