 Spain Claims Release of Cuban Five Madrid, Apr 13. – Spanish movement of solidarity with Cuba demanded President Barack Obama on Friday, the immediate release of five anti-terrorist of the Island, imprisoned since 1998 for preventing their people from violent actions.

The Puerta del Sol from Madrid staged a demonstration, in which various organizations asked the U.S. president to release Gerardo Hernandez, Antonio Guerrero, Fernando Gonzalez, Rene Gonzalez and Ramon Labanino.

At the rally, organized by the Madrid Committee for the Release of the Cuban Five, as they are known in the global campaigns for their freedom, they hoisted Cuban flags and banners were displayed with their photos.

The passerbies also receives hundreds of leaflets with a brief explanation of the rigged trial that in these more than 13 years the anti-terrorists had to endure, over whom weigh disproportionate sentences, including several life sentences.(Prensa Latina)
