Ambassadors of Broadway, a Proposal of Love for Cuba

Havana, Nov 4. -Major themes of the last 50 years in Broadway history were performed in this capital by four prodigious voices of the world famous musical circuit, in a show full of love and emotions.Accompanied by the Gran Teatro de La Habana orchestra, Capathia Yvece, Norman Orell, Lubica Anna Mason y Robert Evan, went up that stage. They were applauded by the audience, who on occasions hummed some melodies such as Aquarium and Somewhere.

Visibly moved, Evan, on behalf of his colleagues, said he was honored to be here in a so special night for them, while thanked Robert Nederlander, sponsor of the show, to make this Cuba-Broadway collaboration come true.

The Ambassadors of Broadway Theater Company, the first of this kind to be premiered in Cuba, will performed again at the Garcia Lorca Hall on Friday and Saturday, as part of the Havana Theater Festival program. (Prensa Latina)
