Significant energy saving in Southern Camaguey

Santa Cruz del Sur, Jul 8. –The Local Energy Council in Santa Cruz del Sur analyzed the performance of energy demand and consumption in the current month, where it is clear that saving energy is the main characteristic.

In this sense, it was reported that the fact the territory has a good performance on demand and consumption of energy, which caused the saving of 23 megawatts in the first six days of this month.

Likewise, having into account the high temperatures of the current season, The Local Energy Council and the Energy Committee had enterprises to make the self-cuts between 11:00 am and 1:00 pm.

Despite the measures taken by the state, it was reiterated the need to save energy in residential areas, where there are still reserves that would provide a significant energy saving reduction, and this would allow not to surpass the plan for the current month.
