Havana, May 6. -The Cuban Comptroller''s Office is carrying out the 6th National Internal Control Supervision of the State-run business sector, aimed at verifying its efficiency and making recommendations to improve it.
This internal control, from Apr. 25 to May. 31, involves the participation of the National Auditing System and the National Association of Cuban Economists. More than 750 entities will be checked nationwide.
University professors and students are taking part in this activity as well, as part of the students' integral training.
Sources from the Comptroller's Office told Prensa Latina that this initiative is part of the actions to strengthen a culture of control and prevention of irregularities.
This national supervision will analyze whether or not the directors of institutions, along with workers, were able to solve difficulties and inefficiencies detected in the economic inspection made last year. (Prensa Latina)
