Santiago, Chile, May 13. -The Chilean Movement of Solidarity with Cuba called President Barack Obama on Wednesday to free five Cuban antiterrorists that have been imprisoned for more than 11 years in the United States.
In a public statement, the Chilean movement joined other voices in the world that are currently demanding to end that injustice.
After describing the arbitrariness in the trial against Antonio Guerrero, Fernando Gonzalez, Gerardo Hernandez, Ramon Labanino y Rene Gonzalez, the movement also condemned the US blockade against Cuba and the current media campaign against the island's government.
The Chilean movement members asserted that Washington also encourages terrorism in its worst forms and manifestations, paying or training paramilitary groups, the only objective of which is destabilizing any government opposed to the US interests. (Prensa Latina)
