Correa: Ecuador Would React to Future AttacksQuito, Apr 20  Ecuadorian President Rafael Correa warned that they do not rule out the possibility of using their military forces, if Colombian army attack them again, as in Angostura, Ecuadorian media highlights on Tuesday.

In Caracas, Venezuela, Correa rejected flatly the statements of the Colombian presidential candidate, Juan Manuel Santos, who was the Minister of Defense when the border area of Angostura was bombed in March 1, 2008.

During a televised debate with other Colombian presidential candidates, Santos said that he was proud of his decision and added that maybe they would organize another extra-territorial attack again.

Correa told to Telesur and Orinoco's daily that the logistics and communications of the Ecuadorian army were insufficient and radars did not work, as they were attacked at close range. And added that the army has overcome those deficiencies and it is ready to respond if Ecuador is attacked again.(Prensa Latina)
