Cuba Trade Fair Attracts Int'l BusinessHavana, Oct. 16. -The Cuban market continues to be of interest to businesses and executives from many nations, Cuban Minister of Foreign Trade and Investment Rodrigo Malmierca said on Friday.

Over 45 nations have confirmed their participation in the 28th Havana International Fair (FIHAV 2010), reflecting that interest, Malmierca told Prensa Latina that

The minister said that organizers plan to have an exhibition area larger than last year's, and the number of participating nations is expected to be similar to that of last year, which was 55.

FIHAV is the largest trade fair in Cuba, and one of the most important events in Latin America, with substantial participation by business people and official foreign delegations.

As it is every year, FIHAV 2010 will be the right place for important business meetings aimed at promoting exports and discuss possible business in different sectors, particularly in biotechnology, information technology, and pharmaceuticals.

FIHAV 2010 will be held from November 1 to 6, and Spain will again have prominent participation with the largest exhibition area. (Prensa Latina)
