Training Ship of Venezuelan Army to Visit Cuba Havana, Apr 6. – The Simon Bolivar training slip of the Venezuelan Army will arrive in Cuba on Friday, as part of a regional training voyage, according to Venezuelan Ambassador Edgardo Ramirez.

The ship, also known as The Ambassador without Borders, has already visited the Dominican Republic and Canada.

After a four-day stay in Havana, where people will be able to visit the vessel, the ship will set sails for Aruba, and will visit Curacao, Panama, Mexico and Colombia later.

Built in 1970, the three-sail ship trains the cadets of the Naval School of Venezuela and carries a message of peace, friendship and social justice in tune with the Venezuelan government's policy.

The Simon Bolivar ship carries 96 people, including cadets from Uruguay and Brazil.

Cadets from Peru will board the ship in the port of Havana, as an example of the vessel's spirit of Latin American integration, the Venezuelan diplomat said.(Prensa Latina)
