Call to Denounce Anti-Cuba Hostility on Twitter

Havana, Feb 23. – Cuban Twitter users called on web surfers on Thursday to use this social network to denounce hostility against the Caribbean island and the media silence on those attacks.

According to Cubadebate website, the label "DerechosdeCuba" will be available for those who use Twitter.

"Thousands of voices are probably denouncing the manipulations and the double standard on information that the great press at the service of the powers applies to Cuba," the website posted.

The source mentions the recent cases of provocations against Cuba, "of which not a single word will be said," including a meeting in the residence of a U.S. diplomat in Havana, with the participation of people linked to the U.S. government.

It also recalls that international media has ignored some evidence revealed by Wikileaks on the financial links of counterrevolutionary groups with Washington.(Prensa Latina)
