Destination Cuba Highlighted in Tourism Fair in BelgiumHavana, Feb 14. – Cuba's tourist attractions were highlighted in Belgium before experts of the industry during the Salon des Vacances Fair, according to an official communiqué of the Ministry of Tourism (MINTUR).

The note says that the Fair run at Expo Brussels exhibition center in the Belgian capital, where the Cuban stand boasted a harmonic design linked to the images of the campaign "Cuba For Real" and was one of the most visited among Caribbean countries taking part in the event.

The source says the Cuban stand aroused the interest of the Belgian market for Cuba as a tourist destination, and notes that in 2011 the number of Belgian clients grew by 10 percent, compared to 2010.

Head of the Tourist Office of Cuba in the Benelux, Fidel Enrique Rodriguez, added that the current trend of the Belgian market goes beyond enjoying the Island´s sun and beaches, with a marked interest in tailor-made programs comprising history, culture, traditions and music, as well as architecture and exchanges with the Cuban people.(Prensa Latina)
