Prominent European Musicians to Attend Habano Festival

Havana, Jan 6. -The relevant European musicians Jack Bruce and Phil Manzanera will attend the 14th Habano Festival as guests of honor, said a statement from the organizers of the meeting.The Habano Festival, which is the most important meeting on premium cigars, will be held in Havana from February 27 to March 2, and is expected to be attended by professionals and cigars enthusiasts from 60 nations.

The opening night will pay tribute to the Cohiba brand with a concert at the Karl Marx Theater by Cuban singer Augusto Enríquez, and their guests Manzanera and Bruce.

The show is titled Eclectic-US with a mixture of different influences and musical styles like the Cuban Son, Rumba, Bolero, along with Afro-Cuban Rock and Jazz.

The Habano Festival is usually attended by personalities of the artistic world, whether cigar smokers or not, like US actors Matt Dillon, Joe Pantoliano, Seymour Cassel and Peter Coyote, or the British Jeremy Irons and Joseph Finn.

This year's Festival will be dedicated to the 520th anniversary of the discovery of tobacco and to the cigar brands Cohiba and Romeo y Julieta. (Prensa Latina)
