Trio Caps Pan-American Runner-Up Contest

Guadalajara, Mexico, Oct 21. -Brazil, Canada and Cuba resume today the contest for the second place in the general standing at the 16th Pan-American Games of Guadalajara 2011 for 20 Gold medals.Although Brazil is the current runner up, Canada (third) and Cuba (fourth) are close thanks to their late Thursday performances.

The U.S. won five more titles to sum 12, while Cuba won 10 Golds after sweeping with the four Greek-Roman Wrestling best medals at the opening day.

Brazil now scores 14 Golds, 20 least than The US, through swimmer Cesar Cielo Filho and its female volleyball team.
