European Countries vs. U.S. Blockade of Cuba

Havana, Oct 19. -Lifting the U.S. blockade on Cuba is currently one of the most constant demands discussed in general debates at the UN General Assembly.In Belarus, Cuban ambassador to Minsk, Alfredo Nieves Portuondo, gave a news conference on the Resolution that seeks to end the U.S. blockade on Cuba.

The resolution will be presented on October 25 at the UN General Assembly.

The Cuban diplomat said in the meeting at the National Press Center in Belarus that the U.S. government has maintained intact the economic, trade and financial blockade on the island.

In Spain, Publico newspaper highlighted in Wednesday's edition the resolution that Cuba will present at the UN to lift the U.S.-imposed blockade.
