Copa America Kicks Off with Argentina Vs. Bolivia Match
La Plata, Argentina, July 1. -The 43rd Copa America soccer tournament begins Friday with a match between Argentina and Bolivia at the Unico stadium.
The opening match will be game No. 700 in the tournament�s history, first held in Buenos Aires in 1916, and won by Uruguay.
The Argentina-Bolivia match, as part of the competition for Group A, will be played after a brief opening ceremony of about an hour and a half, organizers said.
On Saturday, the first round of Group A competition ends with a Colombia-Costa Rica match at 23 de Agosto Stadium in the city of Jujuy. (Prensa Latina)
