Cuba to host International Conference on JusticeHavana, Mar 22. -Some 300 delegates have confirmed their attendance to the Third International Congress on Justice, which will be held at the National Hotel in Havana from Mars 23 to 25, organizers said Tursday.

JurisCuba 2011 will bring together delegates from Ecuador, Brazil, Argentina, Guatemala, Colombia, Peru, Dominican Republic, Puerto Rico, Mexico, Spain, Italy and Portugal, as well as locals.

At a press conference, the president of the Scientific Committee of the event, Olga Lidia Perez, said the participants will exchange about the challenges of people working in the public notary.

The principles of organization and operation of public registers, the prospects for legal advice, legal culture and the need for effective education of children and adolescents in this area will be other topics of discussion.

Perez said that JurisCuba 2011 will coincide in time and space with the 8th International Conference of Cuban Notaries and the Meeting of the American Affairs Commission of the International Union of Latin Notaries (Prensa Latina)
