FIFA Probes Corruption within its RanksBerna, Oct 20. -FIFA began a hearing on Wednesday on corruption charges against two members of its executive committee.

The two are charged with allegedly trying to sell their votes to at least two countries seeking to host the 2018 and 2022 World Cup events.

The court, presided over by attorney and former Swiss player Claudio Sulser, may remove the FIFA officials from their posts and recommend actions against officials from the countries seeking to host the Cup.

Meanwhile, the FIFA executive committee will hold a secret vote on December 2 in Zurich, Switzerland to decide on the venues of the next World Cup events. (Prensa Latina)
