Reforestation in South Camagüey to honor the CDRSanta Cruz del Sur, Sep 4.- The ministry of the Agriculture, through the Reforestation Commission in Santa Cruz del Sur, made a call to the organizations and entities for this territory so as to participate in the Tree Sowing Program on the occasion of the 50th anniversary of the creation of the Committees for the Defense of the Revolution (CDR), next September 28th.
 
The community forest will count on several species like timber trees, fruit trees and also ornament trees, in coordination with the community services Enterprise and the urban arable farms, the CDR, and the Cuban Women Federation (FMC).

This massive reforestation program has among its purposes, to sow yards, parks, the ridges of the reservoirs and free areas belonging to units and entities, and also the fences and paths so devastated by the action of the man or nature.

Such activity will take place in South Camaguey since September 12th and will comprise all the Cuban geography.  (Rolando Canaura Sánchez / Radio Santa Cruz)
