Preparations for the new schhol year and CDR anniversary in South Camaguey

Santa Cruz del Sur, Sep 2.- A voluntary work was carried out at Mártires de Viet Nam Primary School, belonging to the El Carmen Popular Council. Its purpose was to prepare the educational establishment for the new school year starting next September the 6th.

A gastronomic fair took place during the afternoon in that same place where many food stuff were offered.

These and some other actions are part of the activitiy plan developed in this small village of La Vigía, on the ocassion of  September 28th, creation date of the Commitees for the Defense of the Revolution ( CDR).

According to Roberlando O´Farrill Mora, delegate from the 26th constituency from this community, people living there are very absorbed in the preparations to celebrate the great date with social works so as to dignify the 50th anniversary of the greatest cuban popular organization.
