Bolivia Wants Cuban 5 FreeLa Paz, May 5. -The Bolivian Movement of Solidarity with Cuba is demanding on Wednesday the release of five Cuban anti-terrorist fighters unfairly imprisoned in US jails, with a rally in front of that nation''s embassy in this capital.

The action, called "El Cinco por los Cinco a las 5:55" (On May 5, for the Five at 5:55) aims to bring together activists in solidarity with the Caribbean island in that place at that time, the group's coordinator Reemberto Cardenas told Prensa Latina.

Participants in the rally will demand the rights of Antonio Guerrero, Ramon Labañino, Gerardo Hernandez, Fernando Gonzalez and Rene Gonzalez, who are serving harsh sentences for only defending their country from violent actions by anti-Cuban groups settled in that northern nation.

The leader siad they would present materials on Wednesday about the activities by Cuban physicians and teachers in Bolivia, to show the island's solidarity with the Andean nation.

The demonstration is part of an extensive world campaign for the Five, as they are universally known. They were detained on September 12, 1998 and have been serving unfair sentences since then.(Prensa Latina)
