[:es]Elected 83 delegates to Municipal People´s Power Assembly in Santa Cruz del Sur[:]

[:es]Santa Cruz del Sur, Nov 28.- Inhabitants from this territory elected 83 delegates to the Municipal Assembly of People´s Power in the democratic process that took place on Sunday.

The 88.13 percent of electors in this land exercised their right to vote this November 26th; from the total number of ballots, 94.93 percent were valid, according to Mireya Junco López, vicepresident of Municipal Electoral Comission.

The results show the commitment of local citizens with Revolution, Socialism and the legacy of our Commander Chief Fidel Castro, added Junco lópez.

Two districts will have to hold runoff elections next Sunday, December 3.

More than 25 175 electors chose delegates to the Municpal Assembly of People´s Power in Santa Cruz del Sur, those who will represent us for a two and a half years period. (Translated by Yaima Báez)[:]
