Cardiovilla 2019 International Congress to be held in central Cuba
Santa Clara, Cuba, Oct 5 .-Doctors from over 20 nations will attend the Cardiovilla 2019 International Congress, which will be held from October 8 to 10 in this central city of Cuba.
With the theme ‘United in science and conscience, summoned by the heart’ delegates from the United States, Spain, Mexico, Argentina, Switzerland, Bolivia, Honduras, Italy, Panama, Nicaragua and the Dominican Republic and several African nations will attend this major medical event related to the heart.
Dr. Jesús Satorre, president of the Organizing Committee and director of the Ernesto Che Guevara Cardiology Center of Santa Clara, told the press this Thursday that Cardiovilla 2019 will welcome Cuban and international doctors closely linked to cardiology and related sciences.
He noted that the Congress will include dozens of pieces of research on cardiovascular diseases, including on new medicines manufactured by the Center for Genetic Engineering and Biotechnology (CIGB) for the treatment of ischemic heart disease. (Latin Press)
