Cuba Debates on Anti-doping Control in Int’l Congress

Havana, May 31. – Anti-doping control and education is one of the issues to analyze on Thursday during the 6th International Congress on Medicine and Sciences Applied to Sports and Physical Activity, taking place in this capital.

Other items that have capture the attention of physicians, physiotherapists, psychologists and other experts are a practical value of the psychological and biomedical control of sports training.

Baseball in the 21 century and the challenges stated to sciences applied to sports are also on the list.

Biomechanics and its integration in the biomedical control of training, and talent selection are other issues to be discussed in this event.

The 6th International Congress on Medicine and Sciences Applied to Sports and Physical Activity takes place at the Havana's Conference Center from May 28 to June 1.

Participants in this congress will present over 300 papers, 12 symposiums and give master lectures on these issues.(Prensa Latina)
