President of Latin Journalists on Tourism Visits Cuba Havana, May 28. – The president of the International Association of Latin Journalists and Writers on Tourism (VISION), Julio Debali, attends on Monday in Cuba a meeting of this sector, organized by the island''s professional entities.

The meeting, an international seminar scheduled by the specialized section of tourist press of the Association of Cuban Journalists, will take place for three days at the International Journalism Institute in Havana with some 40 professionals worldwide.

Debali was re-elected as president of VISION for another three-year mandate, during the annual general and ordinary assembly of that professional entity, held on May 18 at the Palace of Congresses and Exhibitions of Torremolinos, in Malaga, Spain.

The Uruguayan journalist led successfully the initiative to create an international organization and presides it over since its constitution on June 4, 2009, a VISION official release stated.

The Association grows every day in many countries worldwide, whose professionals join efforts to promote tourism, and now Debali is in Cuba to join those efforts.

With chapters in Argentina, Brazil, Chile, Colombia, Costa Rica, Ecuador, Spain, Italy, Mexico, Peru, Portugal, Uruguay, Venezuela and the recent open chapter in Russia; Cuba is for Vision executives a significant contribution to the development of tourist journalism.(Prensa Latina)
